Monument Mountain Girls Shut Out Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Gabi DeFelice had a goal and an assist, and five different players scored for Monument Mountain’s girls soccer team in a 5-0 win over Taconic on Friday.

 

Molly Flynn, Aubrey Blanchard, Zufan Bazzano and Sophia Tenuta had the other goals for the Spartans, who did all their scoring in the first half.

 

Jackie Boateng made 10 saves for Taconic (5-6), which hosts Lee on Tuesday.

 

Sydney Ruggiero had five stops for Monument Mountain (6-2-3). The Spartans host Wahconah on Monday evening.
