Morales' Late Game-Winner Lifts Mount Greylock Girls

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Livia Morales scored with five minutes left Thursday to give the Mount Greylock girls soccer team a 2-1, come-from-behind win over Ware.

 

The visitors took a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute and maintained that advantage through half-time.

 

Two minutes into the second half, Lily McDermott got the Mounties on the board.

 

Morales scored her team-high eighth goal in the 75th minute to decide it.

 

Mai O'Connor made four saves to earn the win in goal.

 

Mount Greylock (8-2) hosts Granby on Saturday.
