Mount Greylock Girls Blank Taconic, Secure Postseason Bid

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Madison Ross scored a pair of goals Friday as the Mount Greylock girls soccer team defeated Taconic, 5-0.

 

Clara McWeeny had a goal and an assist, and Livia Morales and Jane Skavlem each scored a goal in the win.

 

Delaney Babcock stopped five shots to earn the shutout win in goal.

 

Leeyia Hoose stopped 13 shots for Taconic (1-11), which hosts Pittsfield on Sunday.

 

Mount Greylock (9-2-1), which secured a Western Massachusetts tournament bid on Friday, goes to Lee on Tuesday.
