West Springfield Blanks Mount Greylock Girls

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Mount Greylock fell short to West Springfield in its second game of the season, 5-0, on Thursday afternoon.

The Mounties (1-1) still had a chance for a comeback in the second half while the score rested at 1-0, but West Springfield took over and added 4 more to the board.

Mount Greylock’s Charlotte Rand had nine saves in net against the 2013 Western Mass Division 1 quarter-finalists.

Mount Greylock hosts Bennington, Vt.'s, Mount Anthony on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
