Pope Francis Girls Edge Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. – The Pope Francis girls soccer team scored off a corner kick midway through the first half and went on to a 1-0 win over Wahconah on Monday.

 

Maeve Turnell did the honors for the Cardinals, who needed four saves from Eden Kornacki for the shutout win.

 

Edrie Collins made 11 saves for Wahconah.

 

Wahconah (0-4-1) hosts Hampshire on Wednesday.
