Billetz' Hat Trick Lifts Hoosac Valley Girls to Tie on Road

WARE, Mass. -- Gabby Billetz recorded a hat trick Wednesday in the Hoosac Valley girls soccer team's comeback effort to earn a 3-3 draw at Ware.

 

Billetz' first goal on a penalty kick midway through the first half tied the game at one, but Ware took a 2-1 lead into the half-time break and scored about 10 minutes into the second half to go ahead, 3-1.

 

Billetz scored with about 14 minutes left with an assist from Tia Kareh, and Kareh's corner kick set Billetz up for the tying goal with just 20 seconds left on the clock.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-4-1) hosts Palmer on Monday.
