South Hadley Ends Hoosac Valley's Run in Quarter-Finals

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- The South Hadley girls soccer team defeated Hoosac Valley, 6-2, on Thursday in the Western Massachusetts Division 3 quarter-finals.

 

Shaleigh Levesque scored a pair of goals, and Gabby Billetz made 13 saves for the Hurricanes, who finished the season 8-5-7.

 

Top-seeded South Hadley (18-0-1) moves on to next week's sectional semi-finals against the winner of Friday evening's game between No. 5 Monson (13-4-2) and No. 4 Wahconah (11-3-5) in Dalton.
