Hoosac Valley Girls Win to Qualify for Western Mass Tourney

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Shaleigh Levesque scored two goals Sunday as the Hoosac Valley girls soccer team defeated Mount Everett, 3-0, and qualified for the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament.

 

Sydni Jamross opened the scoring by converting a feed from Riley Robinson late in the first half.

 

Robinson set up one of Levesqeue's second half goals. Grace Kronick had the assist on the other.

 

Gabby Billetz and Emily Godfrey split time in Hoosac Valley's goal, combining for three saves.

 

Emma Goewey made 14 saves for Mount Everett (3-11-3), which hosts Drury on Monday.

 

Hoosac Valley (6-3-7) plays three more games this week starting with Monday afternoon's contest against Lee.
