Field and Levesque Lead Hoosac Girls Past Pittsfield
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Ellie Field and Shaleigh Levesque each had a goal and an assist, and Kailynne Frederick made 15 saves to lead the Hoosac Valley girls soccer team to a 3-0 win over Pittsfield.
Claudia Bresett got the scoring started with a goal on an assist from Carah Cote in the third minute. Levesque then put one in the net with help from Field to make it 2-0 at half-time.
In the second half, Field scored on an assist from Levesque.
Pittsfield (2-4-2) got four saves from Haley Tobin. The Generals will look to snap a four-game winless streak on Oct. 6 at Hoosac Valley.
Hoosac Valley (5-1-1) hosts Monument Mountain on Friday.
