Kronick Scores Twice to Lead Hurricanes Over Lee

CHESHIRE Mass. -- The Hoosac Valley girls soccer team defeated Lee Monday afternoon, 5-1.

 

Hoosac was led by Lily Kronick, who scored two first half goals, along with Ellie Field and Claudia Bresset.

 

The Hurricanes (5-10-1) led at half 4-0.

 

They opened the second half with a goal from Carah Cote to go ahead 5-1.

 

Lee's goal came from Karli Retzel in the 59th minute.

 

Kailynne Frederick, back from an injury had seven saves in net for Hoosac. Lee goalie Brianna Hawley had 16.

 

Hoosac valley travels to play Mount Greylock on Thursday. Lee (7-7-2) travels to Mount Everett on Thursday.
