Athlete of the Week: Hayer for Hoosac Girls Soccer
Courtney Hayer is a sophomore defender for Hoosac Valley girls soccer.She helped the Hurricanes earn three points against two North Division opponents, going 1-0-1 on the week ending the 22nd.
Hayer was a big force in Hoosac's 2-0 shutout win over Wahconah on Monday, Sept. 19, and made some big plays to ensure a 2-2 tie with Taconic the following Thursday.
