Lesure Leads Hurricanes to Win at Monument Mountain

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Ashlyn Lesure scored a pair of goals Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls soccer team to a 3-1 win over Monument Mountain.

 

One of those goals came off a corner kick from Genevieve Lagess. The other was assisted by Maryn Cappiello.

 

Cappiello added a goal on a direct kick.

 

Emma Meczywor made 15 saves to earn the win in goal.

 

Hoosac Valley (3-9-1) hosts Lee on Tuesday.

 

Monument Mountain (10-2) goes to Wahconah on Wednesday.
