Gardner, Buda Lead Taconic Girls to First Win

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Kendra Buda and Eboni Gardner each scored a pair of goals Friday as the Taconic girls soccer team earned its first win of the year, a 4-2 triumph over McCann Tech.

 

Tiffan Martin had an assist for Taconic, which got nine saves from Leeyia Hoose.

 

Isabelle LaCasse and Sarah Fortini each scored for McCann Tech, which took its first loss of the season.

 

Savannah Reynolds stopped three shots for the Hornets.

 

McCann Tech (5-1-3) will look to get back on the winning track on Monday at Hampden Charter.

 

Taconic (1-8) goes to Drury on Wednesday.
