Sherman Leads Taconic Girls Soccer Past Lee

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Sydnie Sherman had a goal and assist, and Jackie Boateng made eight saves Tuesday to lead the Taconic girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over Lee.

 

Rianna Gittens scored the game-winner midway through the first half with an assist from Sherman.

 

With 10 minutes left to play, Sherman scored with an assist from Jenna Bateman.

 

Brianna Hawley had 12 saves for Lee (5-7), which hosts Mount Greylock on Thursday.

 

Taconic (6-6) goes to Pittsfield on Thursday.
