Taconic Girls Post Tie Against Wahconah
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Rachel Donahue scored with four minutes left to give the Taconic High School girls soccer team a 2-2 tie with Wahconah on Friday.
Shay Conyers set up Donahue on the tying goal.
Taconic (3-9-1) took a 1-0 first-half lead with an own goal.
Wahconah (12-2-1) then tied the game 5 minutes into the second half with a goal by Emmy Cote and took the lead with a tally by Ashley Zink.
Brooke Mangiardi made 10 saves for Taconic. Jamie Downer and Kayla Kowalczyk combined to make eight stops for Wahconah, which travels to play Mohawk on Tuesday.
Taconic travels to play Smith Voc on Tuesday.
