Coon Leads Eagles Past Taconic

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Emily Coon had a goal and an assist to lead the Mount Everett girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over Taconic on Thursday.

 

Coon scored the first goal unassisted midway through the first half. Midway through the second, she set up Sarah Beckwith for an insurance goal.

 

Madison Ullrich stopped three shots for the Eagles (11-4), who travel to face Drury on Tuesday.

 

Taconic (1-9-1) hosts Lenox on Friday.
