GRANBY, Mass. – The top-seeded Granby girls soccer team Saturday handed Mount Everett a 4-0 loss in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class D tournament.

Kalli White scored the game-winner with an assist from Maggie Crawford, and the Rams went on to score twice more in the first half.

Kamari Pridgen made 15 saves for the Eagles, who were outshot, 19-5.

“Proud of the effort the girls have put out these past several weeks,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “Even though the score won't reflect that, they've have been dealt a bad hand these past couple of weeks with injuries and other things happening. The good thing is the girls recognize the need to improve and some of the younger girls are getting some opportunities to play and experience the difference of a JV level vs varsity.”

Granby moves on to host Hoosac Valley on Monday in the regional semi-finals.

Mount Everett awaits word of its opponent in the tournament’s consolation round to wrap up its season.
