SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Chevelle Raifstanger scored a goal Monday to lead the Mount Everett girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over Franklin Tech.

Yaritza Cruz-Bravo assisted on Raifstanger’s game-winner, and the Eagles added an own goal in the second half.

Kamari Pridgen made seven saves to get the shutout in goal.

“Today we took the time to recognize our six seniors Ella [Gennari], Chevelle [Raifstanger], Makayla [Carpenter], Stella [Lennex], Leslye [Bautista-Cruz] and Aliyah [Creamer] played well today to send them off with a win,” Mount Everett coach Josh King said. “Not sure if we will have any other games at home, but the team played well today, and we were able to walk off today's winners.”

The Eagles (5-6-1) go to Lee on Wednesday
