SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Sadie Cyr scored three goals Wednesday to lead the Hopkins Academy girls soccer team to a 7-0 win over Mount Everett.

The visitors took a 2-0 lead into half-time but broke things open in the second half.

Mount Everett senior Aliyah Creamer stepped into the goal and made 26 saves in a relief role.

“Aliyah did a great job filling in today at goalie,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “She’s normally a defensive back. But as I told the girls, we're not a very deep team so when injuries and concussions occur it really puts us in a tough spot. We've lost a couple players to injuries already and just need something to go our way.”

Mount Everett (1-3) is home against Lee on Friday.
