Gibeau Leads McCann Girls to Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Allie Gibeau scored four goals on Thursday to lead the McCann Tech girls soccer team to an 8-1 win over Renaissance.

 

McCann rebounded nicely after taking its first loss of the season on Tuesday.

 

The Hornets (6-1-1) led 3-0 at half-time before blowing the game wide open in the second half.

 

Julia Esoldi scored twice, and Aimee Dowling and Monique Martel had a goal apiece. Natalie Diesz had three assists.

 

Alanza Quinones made eight saves for McCann Tech, who travels to face St. Mary's on Thursday.
