McCann Tech Celebrates Banner Season

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The McCann Tech girls soccer team Tuesday night was recognized for its Tri-County League Championship with a raising of the banner at the girls basketball game.

 

The Hornets went 15-1 in the regular season last fall and earned berth in the Western Massachusetts, State Vocational and Division 5 State Tournaments.

 

McCann Tech advanced through the preliminary round of the state tourney with a 2-1 road win over Parker Charter.

 

Jordyn Lloyd led the Hornets with 23 goals this season. Shaylee Lawson added 14.

 

Sofia Francesconi made nearly 190 saves while allowing 21 goals in the net.

 

Both Lloyd and Lawson lead a large group of returnees for McCann Tech.

 

“We are looking forward to a great 2025 soccer season,” Hornets coach Lindsay Lincoln said. “We have a lot of returning players who are dedicated to working hard in the offseason.”
