McCann Tech Blanks Westfield Tech on Road

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Jordyn Lloyd scored a pair of goals, and Shaylee Lawson had a goal and two assists Thursday to lead the McCann Tech girls soccer team to a 5-0 win at Westfield Tech.

 

Lily Speed and Lainey Field each scored a goal, and Sophia Francesconi made 13 saves to earn the shutout in goal.

 

“We played well today and saw a lot of good minutes from our underclassmen,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said. “We are defending being tied for first in the division right now.”

 

The Hornets (12-1, 9-1 Tri-County) have two more league games left, Monday at home against Mount Everett and Thursday at Hampden Charter.
