Lloyd Leads Hornets in Shutout Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Jordyn Lloyd scored two goals and assisted on another on Wednesday to lead the McCann Tech girls soccer team to a 4-0 win over Hampden Charter.

 

“Everyone showed up ready to play today— we are keeping the momentum going and had great minutes from everyone,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said. “Our team is really working together and I’m excited to watch us keep improving with each game.”

 

Shaylee Lawson had a goal and an assist, and Sophie Reid scored a goal for the Hornets.

 

Sophia Francesconi made seven saves to earn the shutout in goal.

 

McCann Tech (5-1) goes to Mount Everett on Friday.
