Hornets Down Duggan

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Jordyn Lloyd had a hat trick, and Lily Speed passed out three assists Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech girls soccer team to an 11-0 win over Duggan Academy.

 

Zoe Kratz had two goals and two assists, and Lainey Field had a goal and an assist. Shaylee Lawson assisted on a pair of goals.

 

“Our passing is strong and our midfield is really working the ball around,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said. “Shaylee Lawson and Lilly Speed really distributed the ball well today.”

 

Sophia Francesconi made three saves to earn the shutout in goal.

 

The Hornets (3-1) are home on Thursday to take on Westfield Tech at 5:30 p.m.
