Valego Leads Hornets Past Hampden Charter

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Jazzmyn Valego scored a pair of goals and set up three more Thursday to lead the McCann Tech girls soccer team to a 9-0 win over Hampden Charter.

 

Jordyn Lloyed scored twice, and seven different Hornets found the back of the net as the team improved to 3-1 this fall.

 

Shaylee Lawson, Faith Brazeau, Lazuri Levesque, Emma Dupuis and Natalie Tatro each scored.

 

Sofia Francesconi and Ava Kratz combined to make seven saves as McCann Tech posted its third shutout of the year.

 

The Hornets go to Smith Vocational on Monday.
