Felix Hat Trick Lifts Drury Girls Soccer to Road Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Allison Felix scored three goals Tuesday to lead the Drury High girls soccer team to a 5-0 win over Sci-Tech.

 

Haley Shook and Caroline Cellana each scored a goal in the Blue Devils’ season-opening win.

 

"Drury has only a varsity team this year and will be looking to rebuild after losing seven seniors last year," Blue Devils coach Mary Jane Rumbolt said. "We have a lot of young players that are going to be starting on varsity. The dynamic of the team is looking good and these girls will be playing together for a few years."

 

Alyssa Russel made one save to earn the win in goal.

 

Drury hosts Hoosac Valley on Friday.
