Firth Scores Four as Spartans Top Drury

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Iris Firth scored four goals Monday to lead the Monument Mountain girls soccer team to a 7-2 win over Drury.

 

Firth scored the game’s first three goals, and Lucey Dohoney added a pair as the Spartans took a 5-0 lead into half-time.

 

Annette Boyko had a goal and an assist, and Jade Nelson scored a goal for Monument Mountain.

 

For Drury, Madison Saunders scored a goal and assisted on Megan McGrath’s tally. Ella Bond had an assist on Saunders’ goal.

 

The Blue Devils (2-5-1) host Lenox on Wednesday.

 

Monument Mountain (7-1-0) is at Springfield Central on Wednesday.
