McGrath Scores Game-Winner as Drury Tops Hoosac Valley

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Megan McGrath scored to break a 1-1 tie Thursday and sent the Drury girls soccer team on to a 2-1 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

The Hurricanes got on the board first, but Madison Saunders tied it to send the teams into half-time level.

 

After McGrath's goal, the Blue Devils were able to withstand Hoosac Valley's pressure to preserve the lead and take the win.

 

Drury (2-2-1) goes to Kirvin Park to play Pittsfield on Tuesday.

 

Hoosac Valley (0-6) goes to Mount Everett on Tuesday.
