Saunders, Blue Devils Shut Out Central

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Madison Saunders scored a pair of goals on Wednesday to lead the Drury girls soccer team to a 5-0 win over Springfield Central.
 
“Drury’s defense played strong and was solid,” Blue Devils coach Sy Uqdah said. “Our keeper made some good saves to help seal the shutout.
 
“It was by far the team’s best performance. I couldn’t be prouder of the Lady Devils.”
 
Hannah Lacasse, Ashlyn Hayden and Delaney Hayden each scored a goal in the win.
 
Drury (1-2) goes to Lenox on Tuesday.
