Finnegan Goal Gives Lee Girls Road Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Lee's Shannon Finnegan on Thursday cashed in a corner kick opportunity for the game's only goal on a day when scoring chances were hard to come by.

 

Her goal off a first-half corner by Madeline Graziano gave the Wildcats a 1-0 win over Drury.

 

Brianna Hawley was credited with one save in the shutout victory.

 

At the other end of the field, Drury's Kaitlyn Toomey faced just five shots on goal, stopping four of them.

 

Lee (3-2-1) travels to Lenox on Monday. Drury (0-5-1) will look for its first win at Mount Everett on Monday.
