Keeper (Harrison Rapant) give away to Felix Kershaw at midfield. Kershaw found Hirsch 1 on 1 on the right side of the box. Hirsch spun and found a streaking Dan Flynn who calmly placed the ball in the open net for the 1-0 lead 2 minutes into the second half.
Pittsfield came back on a direct kick from the deep right corner. Jackson Rich played a curling ball in. Shane Tierney got his head to the spot and redirected it past back David Majetich and keeper Cal Filson.
"We feel a little frustrated today to only get the one goal. Pittsfield was organized on defense. We weren't as sharp in the final third as we needed to be. Their goal was very nice, but we definitely feel we left some goals out there today."
"Harry Rapant was very good for Pittsfield. He made a couple of key diving stops late in the game to preserve the tie for them."
"We'll try to fine tune a few things in preparation for our first big out of county game on Friday with Hampshire Regional, who are playing extremely well right now."
