Lenox High Sets Fall Practice Dates

LENOX, Mass. -- Lenox Memorial Middle High School has posted 2014 fall sports tryout dates on the school's website.

 

IMPACT testing will take place at LMMHS on Aug. 19, from 8 to 10 a.m., and Aug. 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. All seventh-graders, new students and anyone who did not take the IMPACT baseline test last year must take it before sports starts.

 

All physicals must be up to date and on file in the school nurse's office by Aug. 19. Physicals are good for 13 months.

 

All student-athletes must be registered with FamilyID. Go to the LMMHS home page, click on "athletics" and click on FamilyID.

Initial practice dates are:

 

Boys soccer: Aug. 21, 8 to 9:30 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. (JV and varsity).

 

Girls soccer: Aug. 21, 8 to 10 a.m. varsity; 3 to 5 p.m (JV and varsity).

 

Golf: Aug. 21, 11 a.m. at driving range at Cranwell.

 

Cross country: Aug. 21, 9 to 11 a.m. in front of Duffin Theater.

 

Volleyball: Aug. 21, 4 to 6:30 p.m.

 

Crew: Sept. 2, 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Kripalu Beach.
