Pittsfield Boys Soccer Program Seeks JV Coach
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Pittsfield High School is seeking a junior varsity boys soccer coach for the fall season.
The successful candidate for the paid position will be responsible for providing leadership and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student-athletes. Ability to teach fundamental soccer techniques, playing rules, and game strategies is required with the goal of preparing players for advancing to the varsity level.
Excellent communications skills, ability to work effectively with varsity coach, and a philosophy consistent with the mission and goals of the school are expected. Strong emphasis is put on developing player’s soccer knowledge and preparing them for competing at the varsity level.
Experience as coach at the high school level is preferred, but not required.
The season runs from late August through late October.
