Kinne Backstops Generals to Shootout Win

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Prince Thomas Kaku scored the decisive penalty kick Thursday as the Pittsfield boys soccer team defeated Auburn, 5-4, in a shootout to advance out of the preliminary round of the Division 3 State Tournament.

 

Will Kinne made three saves in the shootout to help secure the victory.

 

Pittsfield travels to play No. 1 Belchertown in the Round of 32 on Saturday evening.
