Matthews Scores Pair as Pittsfield Boys Top Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Quinn Matthews scored twice Friday night to help give the Pittsfield boys soccer team a 6-0 win over Taconic at Berkshire Community College.

 

Evan Dempsey had a goal and two assists, and David Charland, Jackson Rich and Max Tabakin each scored a goal for the Generals (4-0-2).

 

Pittsfield hosts Hoosac Valley on Thursday.

 

Taconic (1-4) goes to Putnam on Wednesday.
