Hawkins Leads Monument Mountain Boys Past Taconic

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Justin Hawkins had a hat trick Friday to lead the Monument Mountain boys soccer team to an 8-0 win over Taconic.

 

Wilson Sprague scored twice, and Avery Manzolini had a goal and an assist for the Spartans, who got two saves from keeper Eddie Boyko.

 

Jaden Cross stopped 11 shots for Taconic (0-7) goes to Mohawk Trail on Tuesday.

 

Monument Mountain (6-2-1) goes to Mount Greylock on Wednesday.
