Spartans Finish Regular Season with Shutout Win

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Erving Hendersno scored a goal and set up two more Friday to lead the Monument Mountain boys soccer team to a 5-0 win over Wahconah in the regular season finale for both teams.

 

Mason Whiteman, Lorenzo Gonzalez, Oliver Curtiss and Declan Logan each scored a goal in the win.

 

Monument Mountain (10-3-3) learns next week who it will open against in the first round of the Western Mass Class B tournament.

 

Wahconah (3-10-1) likely will be a non-qualifier and be assigned two additional games to round out its regular season.
