Peplowski Breaks 3-3 Tie, Leads Crusaders to Win
PITTSFIELD, Mass. - The St. Joseph boys' soccer team defeated Sabis 4-3 Tuesday afternoon at Clapp Park.
The Crusaders opened the scoring 5 minutes into the game off a Thien Nguyen goal.
They then went down 2-1 after Sabis netted two in a row from James Gonzalez.
St. Joe answered to tie it 2-2 with Mike Peplowski earning the goal.
They led at half-time, 3-2, after an own-goal was recorded on Sabis.
Sabis was able to add one more for the afternoon to tie it at three, but Peplowski netted the game-winner to secure the 4-3 victory.
St. Joe (9-1-4) hosts Drury Friday evening at Berkshire Community College at 6 p.m.
