St Joe Boys Blank Pioneer Valley

NORTHFIELD, Mass. -- Mike Peplowski had a goal and an assist to lead the St. Joseph boys soccer team to a 3-0 win over Pioneer Valley on Saturday.

 

Peplowski scored the eventual game-winner unassisted in the second minute of the game.

 

The Crusaders (5-1-3) added two insurance goals in the second half.

 

First, Peplowski set up Nico Terpak. Then, with 10 seconds left, Thien Nguyen scored unassisted to provide the final margin.

 

Joe Maynard stopped four shots to earn the shutout.

 

St. Joe hosts Mount Everett on Tuesday.
