Mount Greylock, Monument Mountain Boys Battle to a Draw

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Diego Galvez scored in the 29th minute for the Mount Greylock boys soccer team Friday to give the Mounties a 1-1 tie at Monument Mountain.

 

The Spartans had taken the lead 15 minutes earlier when Jackson Potoski set up David Flynn to make it 1-0.

 

Luke Arienti made four saves for Monument Mountain.

 

Eamon Hetherington stopped six shots for the Mounties (0-3-1), who travel to play Pittsfield on Monday.

 

The Spartans (1-2-1) go to Pope Francis on Monday.
