Late Goal Lifts Minnechaug Boys Over Mount Greylock

WILBRAHAM, Mass. -- It took two months and 78 minutes, but the Mount Greylock boys soccer team suffered its second loss of the season on Wednesday night.

 

Minnechaug’s Joe Rita scored in the 79th minute to give the Falcons a 1-0 win over the Mounties.

 

Oscar Low made six saves in the loss for Mount Greylock (13-2-1)

 

The Mounties started the season with a loss to Division 1 Longmeadow back on Sept. 3 and ended the regular season with a loss to D1 Chaug.

 

On Friday, they find out when and against whom they will open play in the Western Mass Division 3 tournament.
