Mount Greylock Boys Tie Longmeadow
LONGMEADOW, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock boys soccer team ended its Monday afternoon game on the road at Longmeadow in a 2-2 draw.
The Mounties broke the ice first with a goal in the 21st minute from striker Sam Dils, Tom Astle earned the assist; five minutes later Longmeadow's Spencer Robbins answered with a goal of his own to tie it at one.
The score remained tied at one going into the second half.
Dils broke the tie for Greylock in the 59th minute with an assist from Manas Jain to give the Mounties a 2-1 lead, which they held until the final three seconds of the game.
Nick Caputo put in the equalizer with three seconds on the clock to end the game 2-2.
Mount Greylock hosts Hoosac Valley Wednesday at 4 p.m.
