WILLIAMSTOWN -- Five different players scored for the Mount Greylock boys soccer team in a 5-1 win over Lee on Wednesday afternoon.

Felix Kershaw scored midway through the second half on one of two assists by Grant Raphael to put the Mounties (4-1-1) up, 2-0, and the home team never looked back.

"Our depth is what carried us to victory today," Mount Greylock coach Blair Dils said. "We were able to get fresh legs into the match regularly, and in the end we wore them down."

"Despite being undermanned, Lee has several very dangerous players. [Nick] Pow was very good, and the keeper Sampson made a mistake on the first goal but he didn't too much wrong after that. They battled to the end."

Pow set up Jonathan Rodriguez to cut the lead in half in the 67th minute, but Raphael fed Dan Flynn for the Mounties' third goal moments later.

"Grant [Raphael] was very good again today," Dils said. :He's doing a great job finding the forwards and putting guys in greating scoring positions. His skills as a playmaker are excellent."

Jake Foehl, Eric Hirsch and Liam Collins scored goals for Mount Greylock, which got three saves from Cal Filson.

The Mounties face a big challenge and a big road trip on Saturday when they head east to face Worcester North.
