WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Mount Greylock Regional High School boys soccer team lost the county's most lethal scorer and a four-year starting keeper who was among the best in the region.

Of course, the Mounties program has also been among the best in Western Mass for years, so do not expect them to fall off the radar just because of a few losses to graduation.

Mount Greylock will look to get back to championship form starting Tuesday night when Lenox visits John T. Allen Field for a game under the lights.

Although the graduated Nathan Majumder accounted for 31 goals last season, the Mounties got plenty of offense from returners like rising juniors Grant Raphael and Eric Hirsch with five goals apiece. Mount Greylock got four goals each from Ian Brink, John Pfister and Felix Kershaw, who all return this fall.

In goal, sophomore Cal Filson takes over for the graduated Sean Houston. Filson made a handful of appearances in relief of Houston a year ago.
