Mount Greylock Boys Top Wahconah in Western Mass Tourney

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Three players had a goal and an assist apiece Friday to lead the Mount Greylock boys soccer team to a 5-0 win over Wahconah in the first round of the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament.

 

Finn Welch, John Skavlem, Luke Swann and each recorded a two-point night, and Emi Soza-Foias scored a goal.

 

David Falk made two saves to earn the shutout win in goal.

 

Kyle Brogan stopped seven shots for Wahconah.

 

The sixth-seeded Mounties (9-6-2) travel to Great Barrington next week to face No. 3 Monument Mountain (12-5-1) in the sectional quarter-finals.
