Boino Hat Trick Leads Wahconah Past Hoosac

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Kevin Boino scored three times to lead the Wahconah boys soccer team to a 3-0 win over Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.

 

Boino got the eventual game-winner with an assist from Jeff Pulano on a counter attack in the middle of the first half.

 

Boino added two more in the middle of the second -- first on an assist from Dalton Hill and then with help from Brendan Pugh.

 

Colby Ells stopped eight shots in the Hurricanes goal; Wahconah outshot its hosts by a margin of 10-3.

 

Hoosac Valley (0-1-1) looks for its first win on Friday at St. Joseph.

 

Wahconah (1-1) travels to Mount Greylock on Thursday.
