Cardoso Hat Trick Lifts Generals Past Wahconah

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Kyle Cardoso had a hat trick Saturday as the Pittsfield boys soccer team earned a 3-0 win over Wahconah.

 

The junior forward scored the game-winner in the first half assisted by Brandon Balcazar on a corner kick.

 

His second came on an assist from Roshan Warriar.

 

In the second half, Owen Klatka made a run down the left wing that ended with a shot off the post. But Cardoso was there to cash in the rebound for his third goal of the game.

 

Junior defender Prosper Ezan helped anchor the Generals in the back, and keeper Connor Devine earned the shutout in net.

 

Pittsfield (1-0-1) hosts Monument Mountain at Berkshire Community College on Monday.

 

Wahconah (0-2) is at Lenox on Friday.
