St. Joe, Hoosac Valley Boys Tie
CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Mike Peplowski scored an unassisted goal to give the St. Joseph boys soccer team a 1-1 tie at Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
The Hurricanes (2-2-5) took a lead in the 15th minute on a goal by Steven Crouch with an assist from Dante Richards.
Seven minutes later, Peplowski scored his eighth of the year.
"The second half, we put a lot of pressure on them, but we were not able to break them down," Hoosac Valley coach Mike Russo said. "We're a little disappointed, but St. Joe is a good team. Peplowski is a strong player and did what he had to do for them."
The Crusaders (4-1-3) travel to face Pioneer Valley on Saturday.
Hoosac Valley is at Lenox on Friday.
