Taconic Boys Top Putnam, Go to .500

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- David Benle and Luis Rodriguez each scored a goal to lead the Taconic boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over Putnam on Friday.

 

Gideon Osafo set up Benle for the first Taconic goal, and Ryan Abel had the assist on Rodriguez' tally.

 

Cody Latimer made nine saves to earn the win in goal.

 

Taconic (5-5-1) on Wednesday has a rematch with Mount Everett, who it beat, 1-0 earlier this month.
