Taconic Routs Renaissance

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Jeremiah Cudjoe and Andres Toapanta each had a hat trick, and the Taconic boys soccer team Monday won its third straight, a 12-0 victory over Renaissance.
 
Topanta had a pair of assists for a five-point game.
 
Frederick Yankey scored twice, and the Thunder got a goal apiece from Mario Bonilla, Drew Gresser, Steven Orellano and Thomas Lopez.
 
Dylan Gonzalez had three assists, and his brother David had a pair of assists.
 
“Renaissance always plays with a great attitude and positive spirit,” Taconic coach Jason Keller said. “We came out slow and picked up intensity as the game went on.”
 
Taconic (6-7-1) hosts Drury on Wednesday.
